We had a great dinner here. The stuffed chicken, white fish, salad, garlic bread and service were fantastic. Two thumbs up.

Went in for lunch after Christmas shopping at mall across the street.
Had one of the best steaks I've had in awhile. Very well prepared.
    Nice decor

I walked in with my parents for a later dinner. The hostess station was empty. There was a birthday party in one section of the restaurant and lots of older couples seated around. We waited. And waited. When we were finally noticed, we were hastily seated at "the last table we have". And then we waited some more. No silverware. No water. Our waitress finally came over, handed us menus, and told us about the specials. We waited. And waited. And waited. When our waitress remembered us, she was good, but the service was incredibly slow. The restaurant emptied out. So did the waitstaff. We didn't intend to close the restaurant out, but we ended up being the last table there. We didn't leave until 10- and it wasn't because we were having such a good time.

The food was fine. Overpriced for what it was.

Sault Ste. Marie is seriously lacking in good food options (when a town features Italian or Chinese as their sole cuisines, you know things are dicey). Pay the bridge fare and cross over to the States. Much better options on the other side of the river.

Was visiting Mackinac, had a taste for a steak dinner, and decided to cross the border on a whim.  Found our way here.  No reservation, but seated right away.  Very few people, but was a Sunday during American Memorial weekend. Food was excellent, but waitress was brand new and still trying to get her feet wet.  Otherwise excellent night.

I asked a local where to eat and they pointed me to Gliss being one of the good, although higher priced, locations. I would agree with there summary! I had some delicious seafood. Whitefish with a side of roasted vegetables and risotto cakes. It was good food. The service was the best part though. The host was pleasant, and allowed me to pick any table in the restaurant. The waiter was extremely kind, gave good suggestions, and was very personable and polite. He checked in at the perfect frequency, was fun to chat with, and was extremely respectful.
